The International Student Society (ISS) presents Safari Fiesta! Come experience the biggest international event of the year.

Time: Friday, November 21, 2008. From 6-10 pm
Location: The Multi-Purpose Room
Price: $25 Student tickets, $35 Non-Students

Performances
If you are interested in showing off your talents (dance, sing, act, recite poetry, playing an instrument, etc… all is welcome) Please contact isl@msvu.ca for more info on performing.

WUSC Hunger Banquet

The World University Service of Canada (WUSC) will host a banquet with proceeds going towards the Student Refugee Program. Dinner only costs $10 so get your tickets fast because space is limited!

This event is for all students and we are celebrating International Student Day! Come dressed up for a night of glamour, games and laughs. Walk the red carpet, bring a date, bring your friends and let the games begin! There will be a 50/50 draw, door prizes and many more to be won.

World Food Issues. Cultural Fair

Time: Thursday, November 6, 2008. From 11am-1 pm
Location: The Seton Link
Price: Free for all

Calling all international students to show off their cultures to the MSVU student body! Booths will be set up along the Link and this is a great time to have some fun while showcasing your country and its culture. You can print off pictures from the internet, give lessons eg: dance lessons or how to use chopsticks, prepare local food, talk about your country, etc… The office can provide your country’s flag for display if you want!

Halloween Party

The Canadian Studies Society invites all international students to a Halloween Party. There will be tons of activities including pumpkin carving, mummy wrapping and a costume contest. Remember to come dressed up in a costume and the best will win some great prizes.
